Discovering Agritech is a new feature of NIAB's corporate magazine 'Landmark', which focuses on businesses working with NIAB to develop innovative and sustainable solutions for the food and farming industry. The December edition highlighted the work of two Barn4 members, Piatrika Biosystems and Geotree.
Geotree
In November 2021, a joint venture was formed between Barn4 member Mantle Labs, a leading remote sensing company, and Hartree, a global merchant commodities firm. Their article in Landmark discusses their soil organic carbon modelling approach, which is allowing scalable and regular global soil carbon monitoring.
Piatrika Biosystems
Piatrika Biosystems was the first member to join the Barn4 community! Their article discusses their cloud-based data platform, which is designed to bring more sustainable crop varieties and agrochemicals to market faster.
